October is AGM time and we thought we should update you with the newly elected committee members. Neil Fletcher (Chairman), Lynn Whittick, Ian Smith, Simon Whittick, Bob Colman and Phil Barnes. As no one was nominated as Secretary or Treasurer Lynn Whittick stepped in to be Secretary and Ian Smith as Treasurer to allow the Association to continue.
We would like to thank the Royal Oak for their hospitality and providing us with Pizzas in the middle of a power cut. Much appreciated
We are in a healthy financial position but desperately need help in running the association. We need more committee members to represent the membership and help us make decisions as well as people who are just happy to come along on the day and help us with the shed or other jobs!
Our committee meetings are on the second Wednesday of each month, at The Royal Oak at 7.30. If you can help us in any way, please come along or contact me by replying to this email or ‘phone 01785 823466.
As an association we cater for both allotment holders and gardeners. We sell a wide variety of garden essentials, (compost, fertilisers, netting, canes and much much more), at very competitive prices, from our shed at the allotment’s entrance. We have equipment for loan including a rotavator and strimmer. We are hoping to add to this shortly with a lawn scarifier. All this is available for members only.
