We had a good number of members turn up on Sunday 10th March to tidy up the area around the shed, the container.  Despite light snow flurries and a cold win we manged to clear a bed in front of the container into which we plan to plant.

A start was also made on moving the gate.  The post that the gate hangs on was set into the ground.  The the rest of the gate will be completed in due course.

We all enjoyed bacon/sausage baps and hot drinks provided by committee members, thanks to them, on the cold two hours we were there.

Many thanks to all who turned up to help improve the allotments area.  It is good to see that members are willing to volunteer for the benefit of all.
